We now are living, or quickly heading, into a paperless society as all things digital dominate the landscape. Or so they say. But two recent reminders that ink on paper won’t be disappearing anytime soon. Buy a new car lately? When you do the paperwork you sign will stack the size of the Sunday paper. And a Nielsen survey this week showed that print books sales remain strong, with ebooks accounting for only 23 percent of the market in the first half of this year. It’s good to know there’s plenty of life left for our neighborhood bookstores.
